I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming B&B in Derbyshire. The hotel felt like a home away from home, with a cozy atmosphere and all the comforts you could ask for. It was a lovely touch to have a microwave, fridge, glasses, and cutlery available for guests to use, making it feel like your own place. The breakfast room was also a great addition, offering a range of books, information, and DVDs to enjoy. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring nearby attractions, and the hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The delicious breakfasts were definitely a highlight of my stay.

    No downsides, everything was perfect.

The breakfast was brilliant, with a choice of white or brown toast and a full English that sets you up for the day. We felt so at home from the moment we arrived. the owner greeted us with a warm cup of tea and freshly baked cake. They were extremely accommodating, even making a special breakfast for my spouse who doesn't usually eat much in the morning. the rooms were spacious and had all the necessary amenities. We loved the rustic feel of the converted coach house and the cozy fireplace in our room. the location was perfect for exploring the area.

We felt so welcomed and had no complaints whatsoever.

The warm welcome from the hosts was a great start to my business trip. Being offered a nice hot cup of tea and biscuits upon arrival is always appreciated. The room was spacious with a large and comfortable bed, handy fridge, and TV. The breakfast was excellent - I particularly enjoyed the cooked breakfast with lots of options to choose from. The location of the hotel was also great, with easy access to local attractions and cafes.

That the hotel is located on a busy road, with heavy lorries passing by early in the morning, which was quite noisy. the lack of public transport made it a bit more difficult to explore the area without a car.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. the attention to detail was outstanding. From the toiletries provided to the hangers in the closet, everything was well thought out. Secondly, the location at the top of a steep hill offered breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Lastly, the breakfast served was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the large TV in our room, which made for a cozy evening by the fireplace.

Not a single fault to be found.
